Enas Hybrid School runs the Cambridge International Primary Program (CIPP) and the Cambridge International Examination (CIE) syllabus leading to the students taking the International General Certificate of School Examination (IGCSE) at year 11 and the Cambridge GCE Advanced level at year 13. The pre-School programme is a three year school based curriculum developed by educational consultants to cater for the developmental level of pupils in this age range. The academic focus is on literacy and numeracy, alongside well balanced programme in science, social studies, fine arts and music.

Cambridge International Primary Program (CIPP) is typically for 5 to 11 year olds. It is structured through curriculum frameworks and organized into six stages (year 1 to 6). The curriculum frameworks reflect the teaching targets for each year group and provide comprehensive learning objectives. The learning objectives provide a structure for teaching and learning and a reference against which learners’ ability and understanding can be checked. The CIPP develops the skills, knowledge and understanding that will prepare learners for a smooth transition to Cambridge Secondary 1.

We recognize that at this stage students are in a unique period of change, from childhood to adolescence, we have therefore included in our curriculum study skills and personal development to support our students to undergo this transition and also to develop skills that will enable them succeed in their next educational level.

The University of Cambridge International General School Certificate of secondary Education (IGCSE) is an international recognized curriculum that caters for the needs of students with varying abilities and interests. The IGCSE is designed as a two year curriculum of study for students in age range 14-16 years old. It is equivalent to the British General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE). The syllabuses for qualifications within this programme use learner-centered and enquiry-based approaches to learning. They describe the knowledge, understanding and skills learners will develop and explain how these will be assessed. In completing the IGCSE Curriculum, students acquire knowledge and a skill level that will allow them to continue their secondary education at an advanced level, or proceed to college or university.
